What do you look for when reading a book blog? Does the blogger have to read the same genre? Do you like reviews? Personal posts? Memes? Giveaways? What attracts you to a book blog? And – what are your favorite book blogs?

Usually, I look for the latest book that the blogger read and reviewed, 5-rated-stars books, and some interesting tags in the blog. Latest book – I want to get myself updated with new books. If I found it interesting, I’ll mark the book in my TBR list in Goodreads, looking forward to have and read it soon. 5-rated-stars books — I always want to read a really good book. Strictly with same genre. Interesting tags — for example books that tagged with “married couples”. Since I love reading stories about married couples, I’ll click that and browse for it.

Yes. I always visit book blogs that have bloggers who read the same genre. It’s easier to search books I want since we’re have same interests. Yes, I like reviews because it helps so at least I get to know the book a little. However, not too much of spoilers though. Not really on personal posts, honest to tell but if it is interesting to read, fun, and can make me laugh, why not? Memes — I like memes. I mean A LOT but since I’m so busy now, I’ve got less time to update some. Not on giveaways though since most of giveaways not internationally.

The reviews is what makes me attracted to a book blog. Good reviews can trigger my curiosity, enthusiasm towards the book. My favourite book blogs are Over a Cuppa Tea, The Romanceaholic, Historical Romance Addicts, Romancing Rakes, and Book Chick City.
